Firewalking provides a unique opportunity to face our fears and find our courage to overcome them, so that we can move joyfully into a new world of possibilities. It allows us to see beyond our normal limiting mind-sets and beliefs and move into greater freedom and clarity.
In our modern western world firewalking is about realising our full potential and living life to the full.

  • Transform fear and doubt into acceptance, truth and clarity
  • Transform old habits into new ways

Firewalking: an ancient ritual
Firewalking has been practised on all continents around the globe for thousands of years.
In Africa, the Kalahari bushmen and women hold regular fire and dance ceremonies through the night, where their healers raise their energy to such a level that they experience an enhanced consciousness that enables them to heal their people on an individual and community level.

North American Indians use firewalking for individual healing and for the self-empowerment of their warriors before battle.
In the Hawaiian Islands the Kahunas, or native priests,  walk over semi-molten lava as a sign of their devotion to spirit.
In Bali it is the young girls who dance on fire, as the Balinese believe the gods to be 'children of the people'.
In Fiji spiritual devotees walk on red hot stones heated in an enormous fire pit left burning overnight in honour of their Water God.

In Italy St Francis of Paola was canonised for his amazing ability to pick up, bare-handed, burning logs and red hot iron from the blacksmith’s fire; which was seen in days gone by as a sign of God's blessing.
In Greece, to this day, a religious festival is held annually in honour of St Constantine for purification, healing and reverence. The religious devotees  believe that St Constantine protects them from being burnt as they walk across the fire.

Participating in a Firewalk
You can participate in a public firewalk (organised from time to time-  check your local press too) or, if you can gather a group of interested people (minimum 12) and know of a suitable local venue then you can contact Elizabeth directly to discuss setting up a firewalk tailored to your own group's requirements.
A firewalk can be a great way to:
  • CELEBRATE - Birthdays, Special events, Achievements, Reunions
  • EMPOWER - Team building, Women's groups, Rights of Passage
  • FUND-RAISING (special rates may be available)
However, please remember that alcohol and firewalking do not mix!!
Make sure that any alcoholic drinks at your event are kept until after the firewalk.

A firewalk event normally takes around 4 hours, including a ceremony to light the fire, some preparatory exercises and the opportunity to walk on the hot coals at the end of the evening. Be prepared for some soul searching as well as plenty of fun and sharing of experiences! This is a unique opportunity to light the fires within and walk into a brighter world of new possibilities.

Current rates are around £65 per person, or as advertised.
Concessions and group rates may be negotiable.

There are no public firewalk dates set at this moment.
